Transformation and reversal of time scale by a time-varying transmission line
Abstract
The theory of a time-varying line is given for two special cases: (a) constant impedance, variable velocity; (b) discontinuous change of impedance. In (a), the time scale of a signal on the line carl be transformed linearly using a largely arbitrary velocity function. In (b), a reflected wave is generated, whose time scale is inverted. © 1966, The Institution of Electrical Engineers. All rights reserved.
