This paper presents time evolution studies of slider dynamics as a result of lubricant-slider interaction. Lubricant moguls and ripples are observed to form and they change in frequency and amplitude, following the slider dynamics. The slider motion and lubricant thickness modulation appear to build on each other. Eventually when enough lubricant is lost, mogul and ripple amplitudes decrease and the slider dynamics stabilizes.
