Range‐Doppler imaging
Abstract
We review various narrow‐band range‐Doppler imaging methods that have been proposed for radar and highlight the difficulties in their implementation and their limitations. We also present two new imaging schemes. The first involves the transmission of multiplexed chirps, and the second involves simple frequency division multiplexing. The second approach seems to yield the most promising range‐Doppler imaging methods. Copyright © 1989 Wiley Periodicals, Inc., A Wiley Company
