Abstract

This paper describes, with examples, how the author uses the Programmable Operator facility of VM/SP (PROP) to control other guest machines (including the SQL/DS data base machine, a test VM/SP system, and the Intel Batch BATCHMON); record and answer messages automatically; and run a simple file archiving system.
