Pressure dependence of superconductivity and normal conductivity in polymeric sulfur nitride, (SN)x
Abstract
The hydrostatic pressure dependence of the superconducting transition temperature Tc, the critical magnetic field Hc2, and the normal-state conductivity of crystalline (SN)x are reported. Under pressure Tc increases from 0.33°K (P=0) to 0.54°K (P=9±1 kbar). The increase in Tc is attributed to pressure-induced band-structure changes. © 1975 The American Physical Society.
