Performance of the conjugate gradient method on Victor
Abstract
We describe an implementation of the conjugate gradient method on VICTOR, a 256-node message-passing MIMI) parallel computer based on the T800 transputer, developed at IBM, Yorktown Heights. A detailed performance analysis is also presented for this algorithm on a simple but representative application (Poisson's equation in a square region discretized using bilinear finite elements). © 1992.
