Parametrizing singularly to enclose data points by a smooth parametric surface
Abstract
The problem of enclosing a data point by a smooth piecewise polynomial surface is solved with the help of a singular parametrization. The technique is illustrated by an algorithm that constructs a C1 surface interpolating 3D positional and normal data.
