Package size effects on the gains of patch antennas and finite patch arrays

Abstract

This paper discusses the package size effect on a patch or patch array, particularly on antenna gain variations which are important for phased array applications. Study indicates choosing the package size properly can minimize the variation. © 2013 IEEE.
