Multiprogramming for real-time applications
Abstract
A software system supporting multiple event-drlven processes concurrently on a small process control computer is described. Each application can be programmed and tested independently. An implementation of the system, called LABS/7, has been productive for over three years. The limits to which real-time multiprogrammlng may be pushed are explored.
