Measurements and simulations of intersymbol interference penalty in new high speed 50 µm multimode fiber links operating at 10 Gb/s

Abstract

Our measurements and simulations demonstrate robust 10Gb/s data transmission exceeding 300m, using a new high-speed 50µm multimode fiber. The results can be used to broaden the component specification range for 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications.
