Magnetic properties of anisotropic extreme type-II superconductors

In order to properly interpret magnetization and muon-spin rotation experiments on layered superconductors, we have derived and computed equilibrium properties of quantized vortices in a homogeneous single-crystal domain described by an anisotropic London tensor. Results are presented for the field distribution, the lower critical field and the vortex lattice in the uniaxial case. © 1988 Elsevier Science Publishers B.V.
