Joint estimation of data and timing in the presence of inter-symbol interference

Abstract

In this paper, joint estimation of data and timing in the presence of inter-symbol interference was analyzed. We describe a means of incorporating timing perturbation in to the hidden Markov model which describes the recording channel.
