Joint estimation of data and timing in the presence of intersymbol interference
Abstract
The joint estimation of data and timing in the presence of inter-symbol interference was presented. It was observed that a sequence of binary symbols passed through a linear channel with impulse response and additive noise. It was stated that the Viterbi algorithm could be used to find the sequences of timing perturbations.
