Interatomic potential for neon; bulk properties from scattering potential

Abstract

Bulk gas properties (second virial coefficient, viscosity and thermal diffusion factor) for neon are calculated using a potential derived from molecular beam differential scattering measurements by Siska et al. Agreement with experiment is excellent; this potential must be regarded as superseding other potentials for neon. © 1972.
