Grid coding: A technique for extraction of differences from scenes
Abstract
A technique employing coded grids in order to spatially modulate regions where changes occur is described. The technique allows rapid subtraction of two-dimensional information formats or rapid extraction of changes which occur between successive frames of information. It is amenable to processing by optical spatial filtering, digital computer or direct scanning methods. © 1970.
