Elementary interaction of a domain wall with an individual dislocation in magnetic garnet films
Abstract
Using a pulsed-field gradient technique for bubble propagation, the elementary interaction of a 180° domain wall with an edge dislocation is investigated. It lies parallel to the magnetization direction in an EuGa : YIG film LPE-grown on a GGG substrate. The angular dependence shows two peaks. The maximum force (per line length) is about 0.62 dyn/cm. © 1979.
