Direct investigation of superparamagnetism in Co nanoparticle films
Abstract
Supermagnetism in films of self-assembled cobalt particles was directly probed by measuring the spontaneous magnetic noise arising from these films as a function of temperature. As a result, the average anisotropy energy and width were determined, and the entire magnetic anisotropy energy distribution extracted.
