Critical currents in the ybacuo compound superconducting thin films
Abstract
This note contains information on the properties of epitaxial thin films of the high temperature YBaCuO compound superconductors. Some thoughts regarding critical current and mechanisms of vortex pinning arepresented. It is suggested that one of the more effective mechanism of pinning is associated with a random distribution of defects which perturbthe condensation energy. The defectsare on the scale of the coherence length. © The Japan Society of Applied Physics.
