Cooperative magnetic properties in single- and two-phase 3d metallic alloys relevant to exchange and magnetocrystalline anisotropy
Abstract
This review is concerned with cooperative magnetism in alloys of 3d transition metal atoms, with primary focus on facts and phenomenology. We consider bulk disordered alloys as well as exchange-coupled layers. Following a discussion of the magnetic behavior of these systems relevant to unidirectional exchange anisotropy, we conclude with a brief discussion of magnetocrystalline anisotropy and related properties. © 1984.
