Bound-free correlation in electron scattering by atoms and molecules
Abstract
An orbital-theory was derived that extends the static-exchange equations of scattering theory to a formally exact independent-particle model. Bound-free exchange was augmented by a nonlocal correlation potential, while the long-range term was approximated by a multipole polarization potential.
