Boron clusters (Bn, n = 2-52) produced by laser ablation of hexagonal boron nitride
Abstract
We report the discovery of boron clusters (Bn, n = 2-52) formed by ablation of hexagonal boron nitride with a 532 nm laser, creating species which are ionized with a 193 nm UV laser and analyzed with a time-of-flight (TOF) mass spectrometer. © 1992.
