Architectural disparity effects in the morphology of dendrimer-linear coil diblock copolymers
Abstract
The synthesis of diblock copolymers comprised of linear polystyrene (PS) and benzyl ether dendrimer blocks was reported. Significant deviations were observed in the relationship of morphology to relative block fraction in comparison to linear diblock copolymers. The architectural symmetry presented in dendritic-linear coil block copolymer was found to be a useful molecular parameters in the design of self-assembling, microphase-separated materials.
