Appearance potential spectroscopy and magnetism in 3d-metals
Abstract
The threshold behavior for ionization of the L3-shell of Ni by electron impact (appearance potential spectroscopy (APS)) is found to remain constant with temperature even beyond the Curie point. This cannot be reconciled with an interpretation based on a bandlike model, irrespective of any particular choice of band structure parameters. © 1977.
