Accelerating HPC workloads with dynamic adaptation of a software-defined hybrid electronic/optical interconnect
Abstract
We prototyped a dynamically adaptable hybrid electronic/optical interconnect using commodity switches and measured its reconfiguration delay. By reconfiguring the network at runtime to avoid congestion we accelerated the execution of parallel workloads in a real testbed. © OSA 2014.
