A robust high accuracy speech recognition system for mobile applications
Abstract
A robust high accuracy speech recognition system for mobile applications was described. Robustness in the presence of noise, and more generally in the presence of interfering signals is a crucial issue for speech recognition to work in a real-world environment. The system used the familiar phonetically-based, hidden Markov model (HMM) approach.
