A note on the measurement of redundancy
Abstract
The present paper points out a simpler method for computing the redundancy coefficient proposed by Orlóci (1975) using the inverse of the variance-covariance matrix. It is suggested that one should also examine the matrix of partial correlations between all pairs of species (with the rest held constant) since this gives additional information with little additional effort. © 1977 Dr. W.
