Tomas Dvorak is a Senior Software Engineer at IBM Research, focusing on developing software solutions in generative AI and cloud-native applications. He has experience in designing and building complex systems and has a passion for open-source. Tomas was a core developer of IBM's first internal Python and Node.js SDKs for inferencing large language models. These interfaces brought frictionless access to generative AI to tens of thousands of developers within IBM, accelerating product development across the portfolio before being rolled into watsonx.ai developer experience. Tomas began his software engineering journey through local programming competitions, which sparked his interest in technology and problem-solving. Today, he continues to advance the field of software engineering and AI, driven by a commitment to creating impactful, cutting-edge technologies.
