Bio

Stella Brach received a PhD in Mechanics of Materials from the University Pierre and Marie Curie, France, in 2016. She earned a Diplôme d'Ingénieur with M.Res. degree in Mechanics of Materials and Structures from the École des Ponts ParisTech, France, in 2013, and a M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy, in 2011.

Stella is a Staff Research Scientist with IBM Research Zurich, Switzerland. Before joining IBM, she was a CNRS Researcher at the École Polytechnique, France. Prior to that, she was a postdoctoral scholar at the California Institute of Technology, in the Division of Engineering and Applied Science.
