Kevin Stevens, MBA is a Product Manager in Quantum at IBM Research, where he focuses on product strategy and outbound product management for IBM’s quantum solutions. He works at the intersection of research, engineering, and go-to-market teams to translate advanced quantum capabilities into scalable, client-ready offerings.
In his current role, Stevens leads efforts to define how IBM Quantum solutions are packaged, positioned, and priced. He plays a key role in ensuring that IBM’s quantum portfolio aligns with evolving market needs, helping organizations understand and adopt emerging technologies through clear, consumable products. His work emphasizes bringing coherence between technical innovation and real-world business value.
Stevens actively engages with clients, partners, and the broader ecosystem through industry events and discussions, contributing to the advancement and commercialization of quantum computing.
Prior to joining the quantum team, Stevens held multiple product management and technical leadership roles within IBM Cloud, contributing to infrastructure, automation, and platform development initiatives. Earlier in his career, he led the development and launch of hardware and IoT-based products, building a strong foundation in engineering, product design, and market delivery.
Stevens holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School, with a focus on product management in technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton, where he graduated summa cum laude.
