Clinical Genomic Analysis Symposium 2017

Thursday, June 08, 2017

Organized by IBM Research – Haifa and Edmond J. Safra Center for Bioinformatics at Tel-Aviv University

We are happy to invite you to participate in the 8th symposium on clinical genomics and analysis (CGA 2017), to be held on Thursday, June 8th, 2017 at the IBM Research lab in Haifa.

This full-day workshop will provide a forum for the research communities from both academia and industry to share their work, exchange ideas, and discuss issues, problems, and works-in-progress. This year we will focus on the analysis of disease-related big data, where the collected data ranges from "omics" to personal sensors. The symposium will be devoted to understanding the information gathered, its analysis, and how it might assist in understanding the etiology of such diseases, combat them or even prevent them. One of the sessions will be devoted to the analysis of neurological diseases.

The symposium will take place in the auditorium of IBM Research – Haifa, at the University of Haifa campus, from 09:30 to 16:30. Lunch and light refreshments will be served. Participation is free but registration is required.

The workshop will include a demo and poster session, and selected posters will also be presented in a 1-2 minute "flash talk". To submit a poster or demo please send a title and abstract to .

Parking is available in the IBM parking lot following registration.
