Segev Wasserkrug
Segev Wasserkrug is the technical leader of the Business
Optimization Group at IBM Research – Haifa. Segev leads the
Water Management Modeling and Optimization work, and is
involved in worldwide water work in Europe, Asia, and the
US. Segev has a strong background in a wide range of areas
including simulation, optimization, stochastic modeling,
machine learning, computer science, and complex event
processing. Segev has over ten years of practical experience
in applying advanced mathematical and analytical techniques
to customer problems in a variety of domains. Segev has a
Ph.D. in Information Systems Management, and M.Sc. and B.A.
degrees in Computer Science from the Technion – Israel
Institute of Technology. Segev has more than twenty-five
academic publications and over ten patents.
