Versatile approach to hyperbranched and dendrimer-like biodegradable block copolymers
Abstract
Hyperbranched polymers were successfully synthesized by room temperature esterification of AB2-macromonomers. These macromonomers were synthesized by living ring-opening polymerization (ROP) using aluminum benzyloxides as initiators followed by functionalization with an AB2 branching-point.
