Using computer conferencing to improve productivity in the 90s
Abstract
Three case studies in the use of computer conferencing are discussed. The first use of conferencing is for the exchange of ideas among the members of a tightly knit project team. The second case involves the use of a computer conference to conduct a task force to a rapid conclusion at minimal cost. The process and results are discussed for both. The third use of conferencing is an experiment currently underway to improve communications and manage a large group of projects that have the involvement of three separate, and sometimes contending, organizations spread over two countries.
