The same-object problem for polyhedral solids
Abstract
Do two representations describe the same object in applications in solid modeling? The best known algorithm for this problem relates to the number of surface/surface intersections of the symmetric set-difference of the two solids. A new canonical boundary representation for polyhedral solids using the numbers of faces, directed edges, and vertices, respectively, in the two boundary representations is presented. -after Author
