The rise of the model-driven enterprise
Abstract
Enterprises have been using formal modeling techniques for a considerable time. This use, however, has been limited to relatively narrow application domains. In this paper we provide data to support our argument that we are at a tipping point, the beginning of a much wider use of formal modeling techniques for managing large organizations.
