The pressure control system for a liquid deuterium target
Abstract
A fine pressure control system utilizing a commercially available simple and inexpensive light intensity control circuit kit for a liquid deuterium target is described. The difference between the liquid deuterium vapor pressure and the atmospheric pressure can be controlled to much better than 0.001 kg/cm2 or equivalently the liquid deuterium density can be kept constant at 0.1626±0.0003 g/cm3. © 1989 The Japan Society of Applied Physics.
