The delocalized d-electrons in the semimagnetic alloy Cd1-xMnxTe
Abstract
The first angular dependent photoemission studies of the semimagnetic semiconductor Cd1-xMnxTe are reported. These studies provide no evidence for the commonly assumed presence of a highly localized 3d5 ground state, but rather indicate strong hybridization between the Mn++ d-levels and the primarily Te-derived valence bands. © 1982.
