The coupled-channel method - A Faddeev calculation?

Abstract

The coupled-channel method of solving the three-body problem is derived from a Faddeev treatment. This approach clearly indicates the underlying approximations and suggests ways in which calculations can be systematically improved. In particular, the comparison suggests that the treatment of the three-body forces may need to be improved. © 1978 American Institute of Physics.
