Simultaneous Detection of Readback Signals from Interfering Magnetic Recording Tracks Using Array Heads
Abstract
It is believed that, in the future, track interference, or cross-talk, will be an important, if not dominant, source of error in digital recording. This paper examines the simultaneous detection of interfering signals resulting from synchronous input sequences. An example of two interfering partial response channels is described. © 1990 IEEE
