Simple flow cell for electrochemical gravimetry
Abstract
In order to study or monitor the condition of liquid solutions, flow cell techniques are frequently employed. A small fraction of the solution is pumped continuously through a cell which has been designed for specific analytic measurements. These measurements include colorimetry, pH, oxygen analysis, dielectrometry or electrochemistry. The cell discussed is designed to sensitively measure mass changes on an electrode, those mass changes being induced under electrochemical control.
