Extensive experiments of Shubnikov-De Haas oscillations under tilted magnetic fields have been performed on semimetallic InAs-GaSb superlattices. Variations of the Fermi cross sections are shown to account for the observed angular dependence, which follows strictly the two-dimensional behavior for the discrete subband in the heterojunction limit but exhibits an oscillatory behavior when the subband assumes a finite dispersion. Systematic evidence of electron spin with an enhanced g-value is also observed at high fields. © 1982.
