Self-consistent theory of the chemisorption of H, Li, and O on a metal surface

We report the results of a parameter-free, self-consistent, wave-mechanical calculation of the properties of H, Li, and O chemisorbed on a metal surface. Comparison is made with available experimental results on dipole moments, adsorption energies, and state densities. © 1975 The American Physical Society.
