Saturable optical absorption in phthalocyanine dyes
Abstract
Strong optical absorption lines have been almost totally saturated in two phthalocyanine molecules. A giant pulse ruby laser served as the source of intense resonance radiation. The qualitative behavior of the nonlinear absorption is in good agreement with theory. © 1965 The American Institute of Physics.
