Research on pureXML performance analysis
Abstract
Most of the current mainstream relational databases integrate XML processing capacity. However, different DBMS adopts different framework and implementation method in processing XML data. This results in different XML processing capacity. DB2 adopted pureXML to store XML data in the newest version. The paper focuses on pureXML technology research and compare it's performance with the current popular database product Oracle and SQL Server. Detailed lab materials and results are given to provide the useful references for choosing proper relational databases to process XML data in practice. © 2011 IEEE.
