REPRESENTING SHAPE: BUMPS, LEVEL SET GRAPHS, AND GAUSSIAN CURVATURE.
Abstract
We present a representation for shape based on some ideas from differential topology. The shapes we are interested in are 2 dimensional surfaces embedded in 3-space, usual objects for vision.
