Remote Measurement of Some Telephone Channel Impairments Using Microprocessors
Abstract
An algorithm for measuring the attenuation and envelope delay distortions on a telephone channel is proposed. Digital signal processing techniques are used to reduce the complexity of the algorithm to make it appropriate for microprocessor implementation.
