Relative ionization probabilities of the γ-bands in NO
Abstract
The authors report relative ionization probabilities as a function of vibrational excitation for v′= 0, 1, 2 in the A2 Σ+ states of NO. The measurements have been performed by means of (and at wavelengths appropriate for) the single-color (1 + 1) REMPI process. The experimental procedure is described, and the results are analyzed. These findings are the results required to infer accurate vibrational population distributions for NO in its ground electronic state from (1 + 1) REMPI spectra.
