Reference architecture for multi-modal perceptual systems: Tooling for application development
Abstract
Context-aware applications are nearly common place nowadays, but dealing with their design and implementation is currently a huge undertaking. In this paper, we present a unified approach to design, implement and test multi-modal perceptual systems. We describe the reference architecture we co-authored for such applications, and present a set of tools we have developed to facilitate the collaborative building of such context-aware applications and services.
