Quantitative magnetic imaging in STEM using DPC
Abstract
The article presents a discussion on differential phase contrast as a technique in quantitative magnetic imaging. DPC utilizes STEM equipped with a detector with an antisymmetric response function. This technique enables the imaging of magnetic domain structures which can give information on integrated magnetic induction. The images are acquired and analyzed by a computer and correlated to structural and chemical information in the computer.
