Protocol wrappers for layered network packet processing in reconfigurable hardware
Abstract
A report on protocol wrappers for layered network packet processing in reconfigurable hardware was presented. Simplification of network transmission processing directly in hardware was done by a network platform called the field-programmable port extender (FPX) streamlines. Two application modules to implement user applications on the reprogrammable application device (RAD) were used in the approach.
